Abstract

The work consists of 21 modules glued on fabric.

On each module is printed the figure of the blisters of medicines consumed by the artist, the actual blisters are the plates and have been inked and printed with the press, so that the trace, the memory of the medical object is directly transferred to paper. Each module represents a period of time, the installation as a whole reports a longer time frame, the individual pieces are like days and as they accumulate they become months, years.

This ordinariness is normal for some but invisible and not noticeable for many. The presence of the accumulated medical object is meant to make one understand the heaviness, the pressure that these drugs of inevitable consumption for a chronically ill person, can cause.

They become like a annoying background noise that captures attention.”
